Barbara Juniper is a singer, songwriter and Certified Sound Healer who lives in the San Francisco bay area. She spent much of her life in the mountains of California and has a profound love and connection with the wilderness. For the last two and a half years, she has studied voice with world reknowned vocalist, Silvia Nakkach. Her love of music and her wisdom and understanding of the natural word come together to help wayfayers find the path to their own inner sanctuary of the heart.

Bring your voice, your intention and your deepest hearts desire to this special Yoga of the Voice evening. This month we let the songs of love for all places, deities, creatures and things guide us toward the divine!
Together we will unleash our deepest hearts desire with meditation, gentle movement, sounding, vocal tuning and the singing of songs, chants and melodies from all around the world. Let's explore together the beautiful sounds created by our intentions of pure devotion and wishes just waiting to be fulfilled. I hope you will come enjoy this unique and expansive approach to clearing the mind and creating community through sound developed by Silvia Nakkach and the Vox Mundi School.
No singing experience necessary, needed or even required

Feel free to just come observe, close your eyes and get lost in the beautiful sounds! And for those of you who are already in love with this wonderful practice.
Suggested donation is $20 but absolutely no one will be turned away for lack of funds. Let your donation be your voice!

Camping gear not provided. Entrance to Pinnacles N.M. is an additional cost, but free with a NPS National Parks Pass.

11:30am - Group Welcome/Lunch
The Afternoon - hiking, offerings, practice workshops - contact us with your ideas!

The Evening - campfire drum and song circle
twilight hike... suggestions?
10pm - Monument Quiet hours begin
12am - Listening Meditation! (optional)
We will either go hiking or take notes from our tents (up to you) on your experience of the sound of the desert at night.

6am - Early Bird Sunrise Hike & Nada Yoga
7:30am - Early Arrivers Hatha Yoga with Laura Godwin
8:30am - Breakfast with Midnight Journaling share session
9:15am - Group Talus Cave Silent Hike and Seed Syllable Practice by Pinnacles Reservoir
11am - Campsite cleanup Group Check-in/Arrival time
12pm - Leave a Clean Campsite! :)

Scientific studies support the benefits of Nature and Music for health, especially in the modern world - Come to this beautiful desert for silent nature walks, group musical improvisations, yoga led by Laura Godwin, a twinkling starlit sky, community, and a few new tools to support your personal wellness.
